Fiber Love by Ida/FarWestLogbook on Flickr.
I’ve been wanting a yarn bowl since I started knitting. Last year at the art festival, I only found one artist selling them and I didn’t really like their designs. This year, more than half of the ceramic artists had at least one or two yarn bowls so I had a bunch to choose from and I walked out with the prettiest one, I think. I’ve looked on etsy for one but I’m really glad I waited and bought one from a local artist. Buffalo has an embarrassment of amazing artists so waiting was an easy decision.
Side note: My favorite professor(Daniel Calleri) from UB was showing his photography at the festival and it was awesome. It would have been even better if I could have afforded any of it.
wow … for the love of bugs …

Playing with the camera and the lovely new mohair I purchased last month. It’s originally named after an area in the city where I live but I’m calling it Ocha… or tea. It matches Mr Z’s eyes perfectly. Another yarn unknowingly purchased because they match one of my doll’s eyes.
Scarf I made with some beautiful knitting needles that a friend drew my initials onto.
